Recipe: Za'atar Falafel Mini Naan Wraps
With their unmistakable flavor, our Afia Za'atar Falafel make the perfect pairing for some of our favorite Middle Eastern flavors like dill, Lebanese pickled turnips, and labne. And while you can never go wrong with a good pita, we've found that mini naan make a great handheld lunch wrap, and can be found in most grocery stores that stock Afia!
INGREDIENTS
3 Afia Za'atar Falafel, prepared according to packaging instructions
1 Stonefire Mini Naan, or other small flatbread
1/4 cup of labne, or greek yogurt
2 tsp chopped dill
1 tsp olive oil
Lebanese pickles (or your favorite pickle)
Sliced cucumber
METHOD
1. Cook Afia Za'atar Falafel according to packaging instructions
2. Warm Stonefire Mini Na'an according to packaging instructions
3. In a small bowl, mix labne with chopped dill and olive oil (add olive oil until you reach your desired consistency).
4. Build your wrap! Layer on your labne, pickles and cucumber. Top with Afia Za'atar Falafel (Chef's tip: crumble or smoosh your falafel with a spoon to ensure delicious texture in every bite!)
5. Enjoy!
