Mediterranean Nachos With Turmeric Falafel

Nachos are one of our favorite comfort foods because they are SO versatile! Plus, they are perfect for hosting! Wow your guests with our fresh and flavorful take on traditional nachos. There’s no portion control in this recipe — place as much or as little of each ingredient as you’d like. Add Afia Turmeric Falafel for a pop of color and crispy texture that will take these nachos to the next level.


Pita bread, cut into bite-sized pieces
Kalamata olives, chopped
Sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
Banana peppers, chopped
Red onion, chopped
Green onion tops, chopped 
Feta cheese crumbles
Your favorite hummus (or try this one!)
Yogurt or sour cream for dipping
Crispy chickpeas (see Pita & Falafel Platter for recipe)
Za’atar seasoning
Afia Turmeric Falafel, prepared according to package directions.


1. Preheat your oven to 375° Fahrenheit.

2. Place pita triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Toast the pita bread pieces for approximately 15 minutes. Turn the pita pieces over halfway through baking to make both sides crispy.

3. Take the pita out and top it with chopped veggies, feta cheese, crispy chickpeas, hummus and sour cream. Add Afia Turmeric Falafel and sprinkle the entire platter with a small amount of za’atar seasoning.
